Brigden Fair 2008: Celebrating Our Heritage

Celebrating Our Heritage

This year at Brigden Fair, we have lots to celebrate! It's the 50th Anniversary of the Homecraft Division and the 20th year of Agriculture In The Classroom -- our award winning program for elementary aged students.

In keeping with our strong mission of supporting agricultural education, we've chosen the concept of The Three Sisters to help make this connection. It's a simple concept of companion planting -- using beans, maize and squash -- once used by many North American native cultures to produce their food. Read more about it here.

Be on the lookout for celebratory displays highlighting 'bountiful beans' throughout the fair. Click on the links on the left for the 2008 schedule and other important information
