SATURDAY, JUNE 6

 Main Gallery -  NO LOITERING 

A music and movement performance by young local artists ‘Sticks and Clones’ and the Toronto based Parkour Team ‘PKTO’ (www.pkto.ca). The performers will start each show at the Library bench on the corner of Christina St, N. and Wellington and end each show in the main gallery space of Gallery Lambton. (each show approximately 30 min.)

Two shows only – 12:45 & 2:45 - Each show is followed by an opportunity to meet the artists.

Limited Seating Available in the Gallery – Tickets FREE but REQUIRED – get them at Gallery Lambton on the morning of TaBoo – starting at 11:00 am.

Courtyard Outdoor Studio - RAAW Street 

Local and Toronto street artists will be producing 3 dimensional Graffiti & Stencil constructions. Finished works will form part of the Rapid City ’09 exhibition.

Sadie Knowles Gallery - Rapid City ‘09 Stencils are a vital part of street art along with graffiti, installations, wheat pasting and stickers. Rapid City ’08 will feature and is coordinated by local stencil artist Matt Christopher. The exhibition brings together a group of stencil artists who met through various sites on the internet building a sense of community which is central to what they do. Check out the work of the participating artists.

UpFront Gallery - RAAW Video Art Screening 

Video Art works produced by young artists from Lambton County will be screened throughout the weekend in the UpFront Gallery

SUNDAY, JUNE 7

 Main Gallery  - Shadow Casting 

Frames on the Walls and Boards on the Floors are waiting to be filled. Use chalk to outline the elegant shadows cast by friends and other objects of the street. Create your own version of public street art while local musicians perform.

 Courtyard Outdoor Studio - Off the Wall – Family Art FunCommunity Mosaic  

Join Gallery Educator David Moore for hands-on painting experience of large ‘mosaic’ pieces, which will become part of a larger art work.  The gallery will also be assembling another large mosaic piece on the gallery’s exterior walls, which were completed as part of a community project.  Schools, nursing homes and community groups painted ‘mosaic’ pieces over the past several months, which will become part of several mural mosaic art pieces.
